Bucks Bar - Cathcart Road
I had seen people raving about this place all over Instagram for months and had been meaning to try it out for the longest time, and so happy I finally got the chance! After a long and exhausting day full of travelling, a Bucks Bar takeaway was just what I needed. Halal Friendliness : Always make sure you double check what’s halal on the day of ordering in case it ever changes, I phoned up and they said ‘all the food is halal’. This place serves alcohol and in the evenings has a very loud rock n roll atmosphere with under 18s not allowed so I would recommend getting a takeaway for the evening. Food Mothership Burger: A buttermilk fried chicken breast served in a brioche bun with herb mayo and ice berg lettuce, this was absolutely huge and a bit of a monster to eat! The chicken was perfectly cooked and very tasty, however I did find it a bit on the saltier side. Unless you have a really big appetite, I would highly recommend sharing this as its almost impossible to eat in one sittin
